The first time I met Dakota she was a 5 lb premie. As fragile as premies are, I was afraid to ask my good friend Stacy who is her mom to hold her. Well she turned out to be not that fragile, she has literally been sick 5 times in her entire life – rota virus, a contagious rash, two colds, and one fever. Now she is an energetic 5 year old little girl who loves dance, gymnastics, swimming, playing dress-up, her 4 dogs, and can’t wait to start kindergarten!
